Summary
Organizations are involved in strategic, cultural and organizational changes toadapt themselves to the Network Society. Information and Communication Technologies
(ICT) allow for networked work schemes for professionals (including tele-working) and
facilitate inter-organizational relationships. In this context, Development Cooperation, a
networked function in essence, can evolve to networked cooperation models.
Development NGOs find challenges and opportunities to place themselves efficiently in
such models. This paper includes a case study with the results of research about NGO
challenges in network models. Also, some recommendations are proposed for NGO fruitful
networking on: knowledge management, networked projects and network competences.
